The Rheingold is the primary scout ship used by the Fourth Reich.
The Rheingold was designed on the Moon as a scout, but had adequate armor and some offensive armament. The ship is fast and very maneuverable, thanks to it's advanced thule triebwerk engine.
In addition to carrying Klaus Adler, Renate Richter, and James Washington on their mission to Earth, a Rheingold would later be used by Führer Kortzfleisch to follow them there three months later at the head of the Nazi invasion fleet.
