The STG-44 ("SturmGewehr 1944" Formerly the MP-43/44 "Machinen Pistole 1943/44") is an intermediate rifle developed in Nazi Germany during WW2.
The STG-44 was the world's first Assault Rifle that was used by the Nazis during World War 2. It was introduced as the MP-44 due to the fact that Adolf Hitler didn't want to manufacture the Assault Rifle, only Submachine Guns and so this was snuck under the radar and eventually Hitler saw it and liked it, renaming it the STG-44. This weapon was mass produced and production was stopped due to the fall of the Third Reich. Only certain Countries use this weapon.
